INKHUB

INKHUB — the story

Thirteen years running a business.Seven years holding one idea. And no plan to stop.

I am one person. Four products have my name on them, and behind them are thirteen years of finding out what a business actually needs. This is how a car-care marketplace slowly turned into a tattoo ecosystem. No launch-deck language. Just how it went.

  • 13 years running a business
  • 7 years holding one idea
  • Four products, one person

Chapter 01 — Before all of this

I spent thirteen years in one trade.

Long before the platforms and the AI, there was car care. That is where I learned to work.

I ran a car-care business for thirteen years. I did not study the industry from the outside. I was in it every day: quotes, bookings, deadlines, and customers who looked very closely at what they were paying for.

You learn things there that no course teaches. What a good finish really takes. How long a careful job takes, and why a shortcut always comes back to you later. What a week looks like when the wages are your problem.

Being found. Getting booked. Keeping customers. Growing without breaking the thing you built. None of that was theory to me. It was Tuesday morning.

I did not know back then that it would lead here. But one thing was already settled: a lot of it could be done better.

Chapter 02 — DetailHub

The idea came seven years too early.

About seven years ago I thought: why isn’t every car-care service in one place?

One place where a car owner could find the right professional, see what they were actually buying, compare the prices and pick the one that fits. And where the businesses got a channel to show their work and reach people.

I called it DetailHub. The idea was simple. Building it was not.

Back then it would have taken far more money, time and technical help than I had. So I did not build it. I also did not throw it away.

It waited. Years later, better tools and AI opened a way through, and DetailHub started turning into a product. Today it is close to finished: an idea from seven years ago that finally has a shape.

DetailHub

Everything detailing. One hub.

  • Car-care services and detailing studios
  • Finding a service and comparing it honestly
  • A real channel for businesses to be found

Where it stands: built, and close to launch. Not yet a marketplace with customers in it. I would rather say that than dress it up.

Chapter 03 — InkHub

DetailHub taught me the pattern. Tattoos gave it a reason.

Once the marketplace started working as a platform, I understood it was never only about cars. And I had a second passion: tattoos.

The tattoo industry is full of skill that is hard to find in one place. Distinct styles, serious craft, and people for whom a tattoo means much more than a picture.

What it did not have was a digital home that understood how the industry works.

The questions came fast. Why is finding the right artist this hard? Why do studios have nowhere good to show their work? Why does a client have to jump between five apps to find inspiration, an artist and an open time?

So I built InkHub. The marketplace idea from DetailHub, pointed at an industry I care about: a place where artists get seen, where clients find the right hand, and where a studio can grow without leaving the industry behind.

InkHub

Everything tattoo. One hub.

  • Studios and independent artists
  • Flash, designs, price lists and booking requests
  • Discovery built around how people really choose an artist

Where it stands: live and growing. You are reading this inside it.

Chapter 04 — InkLore

Nobody gets a tattoo for the picture.

The longer I stayed in this world, the clearer one thing got: a tattoo carries much more than an image.

It can be someone you lost. A year you got through. Love, freedom, a new start, or a reason that is nobody else’s business.

InkHub could answer where. It could not hold the rest.

So InkLore came out of the same thought, one step deeper: culture, symbols, history and people. The stories behind the work, written for the ones carrying them and for the ones still deciding.

InkHub answers who. InkLore answers why.

InkLore

A home for the stories people carry on their skin.

  • Symbolism, with documented history kept apart from interpretation
  • Culture and stories, told properly
  • A community around the work, not just the shop

Where it stands: part of InkHub today — the editorial and community layer, growing chapter by chapter.

Chapter 05 — MOSES

Building the products was not enough. I wanted a better way to build.

While the other three were taking shape, another thought was forming quietly in the background.

What if everything learned along the way could work at a bigger scale? What if a system could do more than talk about an idea, and help carry it into something real?

The thought became an engine: understand an idea, plan it, write the software, test it, improve it. Joining the tools and models that normally sit apart. Not there to answer questions. There to get things done.

I called it MOSES. It was never meant to be one more AI chat. The goal is a building engine, one that shortens the distance between the stages of making something.

  1. Idea
  2. Design
  3. Build
  4. Test
  5. Release
  6. Evolve

MOSES

From imagination to implementation.

  • Working today: an assistant inside InkHub, grounded in the platform
  • In development: a broader engine for building digital products
  • Not claimed: autonomy that has not been built and tested yet

A person approves anything that leaves the room. That rule is not temporary.

Chapter 06 — Four names

I never planned four products. It just turned out that way.

Seven years ago there was one idea: DetailHub. The thirteen years before it had already given me the raw material, which is knowing what businesses and customers really need.

DetailHub was the first serious marketplace. InkHub took the same thinking to another industry and another passion. InkLore went deeper, to the people and the stories. MOSES came from wanting the building itself to be smarter.

They are not four separate projects. They are the same road, seen at different points.

To be accurate: each product stands on its own today. They do not share one technical foundation yet, and they are not one integrated system. That is the direction, not the current state.

The four

One journey. Four visions.

  • DetailHub

The digital marketplace for car care.

  • InkHub

    The tattoo industry ecosystem.

  • InkLore

    Culture, symbols and stories.

  • MOSES

    An intelligent way to build.

Chapter 07 — Still being written

Underneath all of it, the idea has not changed.

Being found online can be done better. Finding a service can be easier. Communities can be connected in ways nobody has quite managed yet. Technology can be used so that ideas do not stay ideas.

Thirteen years gave the experience. DetailHub gave the direction. InkHub and InkLore gave it new ground. MOSES put a question on the table: could the building itself be better?

This was never a finished plan. It has been learning, testing, rebuilding, and saying plainly which parts are done.

The story is not finished. It probably never will be.

Final chapter — for now

The next part gets made with other people.

Something useful is being built here. If you are an artist, a studio owner, a maker, a partner, or simply curious about what happens next, you can follow along or come and help build it.

Thirteen years running a business. Seven years holding one idea. Still going.
